How we handle your data.

The short version: we collect the minimum information needed to answer enquiries and deliver services. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. The long version is below.

Effective date: April 1, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how SEO Bangkok ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit seobangkok.com or engage our services. We are a founder-led SEO and digital marketing consultancy operating from Bangkok, Thailand.

For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights described below, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

We collect the minimum information required to run the site, respond to enquiries, and deliver services. Specifically:

  • Information you provide directly. Name, email address, company name, website URL, and the message content you submit through our contact form or by email.
  • Technical information. IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is standard server log data used for security and site performance.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. We use strictly necessary cookies for basic site function, and (where you have consented) analytics cookies to understand aggregate site usage. See section 6 below.

We do not collect special-category personal data (health, religion, political opinion, biometric data, and similar) and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 years of age.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above only for the purposes you would reasonably expect:

  • To respond to enquiries you submit through the contact form or by email.
  • To deliver services you have engaged us for and to communicate about ongoing work.
  • To keep the site secure, diagnose technical problems, and prevent abuse.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve content and navigation.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims where necessary.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, or Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) applies, we process personal data on one of the following legal bases:

  • Consent, which you give by submitting a form or accepting analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Contract, where processing is necessary to deliver services you have engaged us for.
  • Legitimate interests, such as keeping the site secure and understanding aggregate usage, where those interests do not override your rights.
  • Legal obligation, where we are required to retain or disclose information under applicable law.

5. Who we share information with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the site and our business. Each is contractually required to process data only on our instructions and to maintain appropriate security. Categories include:

  • Hosting and email providers that serve this site and handle correspondence.
  • Analytics providers for aggregated, non-identifying site usage data.
  • Accountants, auditors, and legal advisors, where professionally required.

We may disclose information where we are legally compelled to do so, or where necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public.

6. Cookies

We use the following cookie categories:

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function (for example, remembering that you have dismissed a notice). These cannot be turned off.
  • Analytics. Set only with your consent. These cookies let us count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve site performance.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through the cookie consent interface on the site. Blocking all cookies may affect how the site works.

7. Data retention

We keep contact-form and email enquiries for as long as needed to respond and, where applicable, through the duration of any resulting engagement plus a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to seven years, consistent with Thai accounting and tax record requirements).

Server logs are rotated on a short cycle (typically 30 to 90 days). Analytics data is retained in aggregated form only.

8. International transfers

We operate from Thailand. Some of our service providers are located in other jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred outside Thailand, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards (for example, standard contractual clauses or equivalent) to protect it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access. Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction. Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion. Ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Objection. Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdrawal of consent. Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
  • Complaint. Lodge a complaint with the Thailand Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) or your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including HTTPS across the site, access controls on systems that store enquiry data, and regular review of our service providers' security practices. No internet transmission is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to be cautious about what you send by email.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

12. Contact

For any privacy-related question, request, or complaint, contact us at [email protected].
